Basic Daytime Makeup Look

Basic Daytime Makeup Look

imageThis is my ideal simple makeup to look like I didn’t try when I majorly did. I wore this to my hair appointment where being over the top really wasn’t necessary. I wanted to be a little glammed up because when you have wet hair and a black cape on, any makeup helps.  I feel like this is a look that “normal” people would like- those with just a makeup bag of products rather than a full IKEA Alex drawers collection.

Simple makeup can be the hardest for me.  Why is a smokey eye easier? Practicing constraint is difficult when you have a major passion for makeup. Usually when I try to do this I end up with a bold lip and beaming highlight.  This time I accomplished the look I was going for- a nice base with a simple eye just to enhance my face- nothing attention grabbing or bold about it.  This would be something I wear to a business meeting, work, church, family event, or anything more conservative. Check out the products I used to create this look.
