Go To Nude Lipsticks

These nudes are the heavy hitters of my lipstick collection. I love a bright or bold lip, but most often I reach for a nude.  Neutral, nude, beige, peachy, cool toned, light, natural, pale- these are all the words I would use to describe these perfect shades.
When I was picking out the colors I wanted to focus on for this post, I went for nudes that were not too orange, warm, too pink, too dark brown, grey, or purple. These are flattering with just about any look, and during any season.  
Sometimes I feel super boring when I choose to apply a nude when I’m doing my makeup, but I can’t help it. They are reliable and such a no- brainer!  I made sure to leave out products that I don’t like the formula of- those too drying, bad consistencies, or that wear uncomfortably for one reason or another. All of these lipsticks are some that I highly recommend checking out.  The shades pictured below are ordered from low price to high end.

Colourpop

Midi // Pale pink neutral goodness.
Echo Park // obsessed.
Magic Wand // obsessed again!

 

NYX Lingerie // Make sure to put Chapstick under these but they are a nice budget option! They need a couple layers.  They aren’t my favorite formula in the world but I like them for a drugstore liquid lipstick.

 

Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream Abu Dhabi // classic liquid lipstick.
Milani Matte Naked lipstick // *heart eyes emoji*
Milani Amore Matte // I can’t remember the name because the sticker fell off… Adore maybe? The formula of this feels high end.
Maybelline Warm Me Up // this color makes me so happy and I can’t put my finger on exactly why. Everyone needs it!

ABH Pure Hollywood // Remember when this color was all over Instagram?  Pure Hollywood is a great shade to mix with bold shades to make them more wearable and lighten them up.
ABH Stripped // This is so wearable and looks so pretty with a deeper nude lip liner.
Stila Caramello // not much to say other than I love this!
MAC Lady Be Good // Great mix of neutral and peachy

Nars Raquel // formula is next level
Bite Amuse Bouche Honeycomb // ditto of the Nars!
Buxom Nude Lip Foundation Undressed // I have used and abused this. So matte and precise for an easy application.

Kat Von D Bow and Arrow // um… They changed the formula of this color and it is way more cool toned now. I have the “old” formula… Kind of heartbroken and hoarding this because they changed the color.
Ofra São Paulo // newest addition to my lipstick collection- BEAUTIFUL. The picture shows it still wet because I was being impatient, it dries down just a tad darker. Ofra’s formula is top of the line too.
Dose of Colors Truffle // ideal.

The Ofra, Kat Von D, and Dose of Colors are probably my favorites out of the whole bunch. What are your must have nude shades?
