My life palette is as vital to my makeup as the name implies. Just about every makeup look I do utilizes these colors in some way- transition, crease, smoke out my lower lash line, etc. They are all matte shades in warm browns, neutral browns, cool toned browns, reds, oranges, etc. I talked about some of these shades in my Go To Eyeshadow Singles post if some of the colors look familiar.
My collection has expanded since that post, mainly from the addition of the Makeup Geek Fall 2016 Signature Eyeshadow Bundle. Makeup Geek released new eyeshadows at end of summer. I have never purchased one of their bundles before, but this one stood out to me. It seemed to be all of the colors from the new releases that I liked, all in one beautiful little set of nine. Makeup Geek shadows are apparently my favorite if you look at how many I have in this palette. They are easy to blend, great pigmentation, beautiful colors, and a great price at $6 each.
Having all of my favorite matte neutral eye shadows in one place is so handy. They are all living in a bronze Z palette– my favorite kind of empty palette to use. I have gone ahead and listed all four rows of shadows below.
