For today’s post I’m raving about a set of lashes I recently tried out- Eylure Gilded. These are on the bigger side, so if that scares you away, these aren’t for you. I first learned about these from YouTuber Casey Holmes. She has a different eye shape than me, but something about how much she liked them made me want to try them.
These photos were taken after a trim and one use.
The first time I put them on I didn’t trim them. Mistake. They gave me that overwhelmed feeling that I get sometimes with thick lashes- suddenly my eyes are weighed down and the bright makeup look I just created is diminished.
I removed them and trimmed them up a bit shorter, and they were perfect. These are the softest lashes I have ever used. They fan out evenly across the eyes (rather than tapering short to long). At $11.99, they are an affordable price for something that feels luxury. I know I will get at least 10 or so uses out of these with regular cleaning. I picked them up from Ulta and already feel like I need 5 backups. Usually I like a more simple lash that is more sparse and piecey like House of Lashes Bambie. These are very different than that look, but they give a very bold look to they eye. With a dark matte or shimmery smokey eye these would be so pretty.
I included some photos of me wearing them. Usually it is hard to capture lashes in a photo, but with these they were extremely easy to see.
Also, if you’d like to see these in action, I filmed a video of this makeup look. It’s very simple with some Copper shadow, the Tartelette in Bloom palette, and these amazing lashes. See it here: https://youtu.be/1pae8BtbgbA
I’d love your feedback (constructive criticism very welcome!!) if you watch my video. If you need some ultra glamorous lashes to try out, definitely pick these up!

I love false lashes but can never get them on properly !
I swear it’s all about getting a thinner band and trimming them 🙂
I’ve ordered one of those applicator things to help so I don’t have to use my fingers and get in a mess 🙈
Nice! I use tweezers but I need to try one of those.
