New Fall Lipsticks | Kylie Cosmetics

Liquid lipsticks are my weakness, and I recently picked up two new ones.  Butternut and Libra are from the Kylie Cosmetics fall collection and are two shades I didn’t have in my collection.  I don’t usually get too crazy with lip colors and you won’t see me in blue or green, but when I saw Butternut I was intrigued by the mustard yellow/ butternut squash color.  Mustard is kind of an “in” color right now, and I was wondering if I could maybe pull it off and make it wearable.  I’ll take you along with my thinking as to why I thought I needed this shade.

Most of the time I buy foundations that are quite yellow based to match my self tan shade, so I thought this mustard shade could play off those yellow undertones to work.  Before now I have never been drawn to yellow lipsticks.  The ones that I have seen are usually true Crayola yellow or neon, but this one had more of an orangey mustard mac n’ cheese color that I like.  Jordyn Woods tried it on in Kylie’s youtube swatch video and it looked SO beautiful on her.  On me it’s a bit weirder, but I actually like it! I feel like I could get away with wearing it on a night out.  I live in Portland, OR so it goes with the theme of “Keep Portland Weird” and all that edginess that I like to fake every once in awhile.  I had to add some MAC Stripdown liner to my lips to make it less intense looking, and even then it definitely stood out.

Libra is a bit more typical, but is ULTRA light.  Kylie said it was the lightest shade she has come out with, which intrigued me because her Vacation Nudes collection was full of light nude lipsticks.  This one is WAY lighter than any of those I am happy to report so this is definitely a true statement. I have some comparison swatch pictures showing it by my other super light lipsticks. If you have fair skin this would be an absolutely beautiful shade for you, but for me and anyone deeper a lip liner is probably necessary.

For the eyeshadow I used my favorite mustard yellow brown and tangerine yellow mattes with a brown winged liner.  I also used…

COMPLEXION| CLINIQUE superbalanced silk foundation, WET N WILD cream contour, TARTE setting powder, KVD lyric undereye powder, MAKEUP GEEK contour, LORAC cinematic blush, MAC tutu highlight

EYE| MAC base, LOOXI wheatness, MAKEUP GEEK tiki hut, chickadee, early bird, MORPHE central park, BENEFIT eye bright waterline, WET N WILD liquid liner, ESSENCE i <3 extreme, MAC tutu inner corner highlight, iikonn Black Magic lashes (kimandmakeup coupon for 30% off)

BROW| COLOURPOP arched auburn pomade, KVD brown ink liner

LIP| KYLIE Butternut, MAC Stripdown liner

Looking back on the photos, I think I need to go a bit heavier on the lip liner, then just pat butternut around to give the color.  If you are like me and love weird mustardy colors, check out Black Moon Cosmetics Cider or Baby Bat Beauty’s Citrine and Spiked Apple Cider.

My developer is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP.
I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses.
But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using WordPress on various
websites for about a year and am nervous about switching to another platform.
I have heard excellent things about blogengine.net.
Is there a way I can import all my wordpress content into it?
Any help would be really appreciated!
