Last week I had a facial at Hand & Stone. I did this last year as well and talked about my experience in this post. I absolutely love relaxing while chatting with the esthetician doing the facial. I learn so much and ask them about their personal favorite products and practices.
I want my skin to be on point in 2020 and I wanted to share a fresh roundup of my favorite skincare products that give me results. My goal for my skin is to keep my skin clear and hydrated to look the best it can with or without makeup.
Most of these are affordable or drugstore products. You do not need all of the products that I listed if you want to follow my routine. Having one product from each category works, I just like to give options since I’ve tried a lot.
Disclaimer about chemical exfoliants and texture serums- if your skin is not used them, don’t throw on a ton of AHA or BHA with reckless abandon. Start out with once a week and switch off nights using actives. Example- If you’re using a retinol at night, stick to Cerave daily moisturizer or Ponds rather than also using Cerave SA lotion.
