There’s a part of me that immediately starts to think about alternatives whenever I see a high end makeup item. As much as I adore luxury makeup, I do a lot of research before buying it. When you boil it down, all makeup is varying shades of powders or liquids. If you follow makeup brands and release pages online like I do, you see a ton of new releases churning out. Usually it’s the same thing already existing, but with new marketing attached. For the most part I can find something that works the same way in my collection to something that is coming out.
Because of this perspective on makeup, when I do buy something from Sephora and love it, I’ll sing its praises from the rooftops like I do with my drugstore finds.
