Hi!  Lately I have been obsessed with eyeshadow palette makeup looks and wanting more. To curb that and avoid spending all my money on new makeup, I wanted to do this tag to shop my own collection. This post will be about the palettes in my collection that are not my self- picked Z palettes.  Here we go…

  1. Best Packaging: Lorac Nude Skinny Eye Shadow Palette

    LORAC-Skinny-Eye-Shadow-Palette-Nude
Boring answer, but this is sleek, closes with a magnet, has a large mirror, and comes with seven super pigmented large shadows.  The packaging has a golden snake skin look.  I forget about this palette sometimes since it is small and tends to get pushed to the back of my drawer, but it has good variety for everyday with 3 mattes, 3 shimmers, and 1 dark purpley shade to deepen a look. Something about the simple packaging makes me like it even more.

  2. Best color payoff: Morphe 35K “Color Koffee Eyeshadow Palette”

For the price and amount of shadows you get, I was very surprised at the quality of this palette.  the 35O gets hyped up on social media, but this one is just as good.  It has cool toned silvers and grayish blues, plus a good neutral variety of light and dark brown shadows.  The Morphe palettes are awesome for helping me recreate looks because it has about every color I could want.

  3. Most Versatile: None

I am failing to find an answer to this question!  Looking at my collection, each of my palettes tend to have a theme, which is why I am drawn to them.  One I do not own but have used from my friends and swatched, is the Lorac Pro Palettes.  They have a great variety of mattes and shimmers with a broad color range.

4. Best For Traveling: Morphe 35O

I’ll always be obsessed with warm eyeshadows. I pack HEAVY so realistically I take like 4 palettes when traveling. But if I had to only pick one, it would be this one along with a couple sparkly singles and ColourPop shadows.

5. Biggest Regret: Tartelette (1)

If I liked this palette I would have given it the “best packaging” category. The packaging is gorgeous, the mirror is huge, and I like the color selection.   I’ve heard good things about the Tartelette 2, but was interested in this one because they are all matte and have a purple theme.  Sadly, I find these chalky and they disappear as I blend.  I have kept it because I do not have many other matte purple shades to use, but to get payoff I have to reapply 2 or 3 times with my brush.

6. Least Used: Urban Decay Electric Palette

Love it, but I don’t do neon looks on a regular basis.

7. Most Used: Urban Decay Naked 1

You can tell mine is well loved. This is the first eyeshadow palette I ever purchased. (2010)!! I don’t dip into it too often because I have other more exciting/ new products and I like the colors in my Naked 3 palette more.  But, every once in a while I’ll do Virgin in my inner corner or Toasted all over the lid just for old times sake.

8, 9. Best Color Names & Most Loved: Kat Von D Shade + Light Eye Contour Palette

This is a must for any makeup lover.  So pigmented, three huge transition shades, warm tones, a bomb matte olive green, very bright light shades, and my 2nd favorite black shadow of all time! Again, a MUST HAVE!  I’m not into worshipping Satan so the shade names freak me out but I think it was a cool/ bold move to have them all demon names which goes well with the dark vibe of the brand.

10. Most Recent Purchase: Too Faced Peanut Butter and Jelly Palette

This product has blown me away. I need to do a whole post devoted to it because I could rave forever about it.
