These products are some that I would definitely recommend to my friends and family, so I wanted to talk about them here. You know when you find something that works perfectly for your life? That applies to these.
Smashbox Primer Water // I use this spray before my foundation, during, and after all my makeup is done. The scent reminds me of spa and it feels super refreshing. I go in with something more heavy duty to finish off all my makeup like the Makeup Forever Mist + Fix, but this is my favorite spray to use during makeup application. The only thing bad I can say about it is the price- $16 for 1 oz and I can run through a bottle of this pretty fast if I don’t conserve it.
Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot primer // This primer keeps my oil away longer than any other I have tried. I hope it is never ever EVER discontinued.
Becca Champagne Pop Shimmering Skin Perfector // Champagne Pop in the pressed powder form is one of my favorite highlighters, and this is a sheer liquefied version of it. If I am wearing a foundation that I want to add some glow to, I do a layer of this all over my face first. This is probably insane since I am super oily, but if I have good primer on and use a setting powder, everything is fine. Lately I have been doing this with most of my heavier foundations- I’m trying to have plump healthy looking skin rather than cake face. I also have added this to moisturizers when I feel like being sparkly from head to toe. I’m pretty sure the bottle will last me the rest of my life.
Makeup Forever Ultra HD Stick foundation // This foundation is stunning. Like I said, I have been into a glowy foundation look rather than matte. This has such a pretty finish and has really nice coverage- it evens out all my imperfections without looking extremely heavy.
It! Cosmetics Complexion Perfection #7 brush // I have been using a wet beauty sponge for applying foundation for the longest time, but one day I wanted to switch to a brush. This one has been in my collection for a long time, but I was using it for cream contour. Now that I have tried it on foundation, I am obsessed with it! Not streaky, everything it touches blends so quickly, and it is really easy to spot correct or build up foundation in certain areas.
