Trying New Makeup: Rose Gold Winter Glam

Today I wanted to share a look that I did when I was *gasp* non- fake tanned. I personally don’t like doing my makeup pale and as you may be able to tell from photos my contour was a bit off because I was just thrown off overall.
Anyway, the exciting part of this post is that I was trying some new products! I picked up some things in the Sephora sale and was testing them out for this makeup look- the Tartelette in Bloom palette, and Urban Decay Vice lipstick in Troublemaker.
I have used this palette about five times so far, and I really like it. The first Tartelette palette was a complete let down for me and the colors blended away to nothing… but this one is different. I recently went away on a weekend trip and only brought that palette because it has all the mattes I wanted and a few shimmers. It worked out great and I even got a compliment on my makeup after a long day of driving home so that made me even fonder of the palette (lol). If I knew someone just starting out in makeup, I would buy them this Tartelette in Bloom palette. All the colors compliment each other and can work on a wide variety of skin tones. It is a great everyday- use item and the shades are beautiful- neutrals and even a few pinks.
The lipstick is a very beautiful dark purple. I like the texture of it- “comfort matte” is a great description that Urban Decay used. It faded a little bit on the outer corner of my lips, but that could have just been from eating/ drinking.
This is definitely one of my favorite dark colors that I own! Below are the products I used to create this look.
