Wednesday Wishlist: Hydrate & Cleanse

hydrateThis fall there has been a major skincare revolution in my life. I’ll discuss my new discoveries in my November favorites later this month, but these are some of the products I would like to add to the mix.  Since my acne has improved, I can focus less on clearing up my spots. Right now my focus is on exfoliation so I can bring fresh new skin out to the surface, and continued healing and hydration.

Hydrate

Clinique Dramatically Different Lotion // This seems to be a staple in many people’s skincare, and I’m trying to get on the bandwagon.

Benefit Moisture Prep Toning Lotion // I can’t remember where I heard this being recommended, but it seemed like a perfect step to add to my skincare. I want all the hydration I can get so that my skin stops overproducing oil.

Bare Minerals Butter Drench Rich Cream // “Butter Drench”.

Lancome Visionnaire Nuit Beauty Sleep Perfector // Confession: I do not have a nighttime moisturizer. All my face lotions are SPF so at night I end up just using Bio Oil, which I know is not ideal. This Lancome night cream has great reviews from the skincare subreddit I read, and I trust that source for everything skin- related.

Sunday Riley Skincare // I cannot pick just one product from the Sunday Riley line. Everything in this line has great reviews and fabulous ingredients.  My only issue is that it is also majorly pricey.  At the top of my list are UFO, Good Genes, and Luna night oil.  Almost everything from this line has four or more stars! Gimme.

Cleanse

Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser // After trying their serums, I am a big fan of Glossier’s skincare. I want this because it looks like a gentle, moisturizing cleanser that won’t strip my skin.

Exfolikate Intensive Exfoliating Cleanser // Casey Holmes and a few other beauty vloggers have raved about this exfoliator.

Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Skin Brightening Exfoliator // I received a sample of this from Kiehls and really liked the gentle but effective texture. It felt like it was getting the job done without ripping apart my face. Anything that says “brightening” gets my attention.

Sephora Collection Supreme Cleansing Oil // Julia Havens’ recent Youtube video attracted me to this cleanser.  I have never tried oil cleansing before!  The Sephora Collection line has some major hidden gems.

Bare Minerals Dirty Detox Skin Glowing Refining Mud Mask  // I mention Shelbey Ashburn’s Youtube channel a lot, and this is another product she recommended. I can’t see myself ever running out of Aztec Secret Clay mask, but she said this one gave her instant results.

If you have an essential product that you use in your skincare routine to cleanse or hydrate your skin, please share!
