Review & Copper Eye Look | MAKE UP FOR EVER Star Lit Powder
I recently picked up the Make Up For Ever Star Lit powder in Copper from Sephora. I had heard a few youtubers talk about the product and my curiosity got the best of me. MUFE has had diamond powders for a long time that I have always wanted, but never actually pulled the trigger on. They aren’t sold in stores and I was too lazy to purchase them off the MUFE website.
I have tried this a couple of times and am extremely impressed by this eyeshadow. Usually if I want a bright copper eye, I start off with a cream copper orange base, add a powder eyeshadow in a few different tones of light and dark shades to get good dimension, sometimes wet my brush to get it more metallic, and possibly add a glitter on top. MUFE Star Lit powder cuts out most of these steps. The photos below show what just one layer of MUFE’s Star Lit copper eyeshadow looks like over Nyx Glitter Glue on my eye lids.
One fabulous aspect to the Star Lit powder is the sifter. It doesn’t create a mess in the cap or waste product. It is the perfect size to dip in a small brush. I like to spray my brush with a bit of makeup setting spray for extra grit for the powder to stick to in order to minimize fall out, but a dry brush works dry as well. This is an awesome eyeshadow because it is just so easy to get intense metallic color without having to build up the product.
