Tonight is my work’s Christmas party so I was practicing my makeup to see if I wanted to go subtle or do a festive colorful eye look. There aren’t too many occasions where I go for a teal or any bold color really, so I’m trying to take advantage of it as much as possible. I struggle with blending out bold colors into my crease shades- I thought I had done a pretty good job when I was looking working on it, but in the photos the line definitely looks more obvious. The struggle is to blend it into a smooth transition without getting my crease all sparkly or getting the colors muddy. Any tips you have are welcome!

I totally forgot to put mascara on my lower lashes and realized it later on. I applied Loreal voluminous lash primer, then forgot to finish it off! Instead of competing with my eye color, I felt like the teal really made my eye color stand out. Last night I was stalking @courtmontes on Instagram, which made me want to do a lighter look tonight instead of this one, but I may do the teal in my waterline again. Her work is STUNNING and basically my dream is to be as talented as her. Thank you for reading and happy holidays!
