A Sephora Haul

I had a spontaneous trip to Sephora on my lunch break earlier this week and wanted to share what I came out with. The whole trip was brought about by the first product I bought…

Smashbox Covershot Palette / A palette without orange finally exists. After Jaclyn Hill’s poor review on the Kris x Kylie palette, I decided not to go for that one.  I never realized how much I relied on Youtuber’s opinions but I trusted her on this one and appreciated her honesty. A couple days later, someone on Reddit posted this Smashbox Punked palette that I had never seen advertised anywhere. If there are other companies out there with cool toned non orange palettes, start marketing toward me please because I haven’t seen them yet.

This grey, taupe, purple, and black palette is exactly what I’ve been looking for.  This is my first time buying the Smashbox Covershot formula and I can’t wait to try it out. It swatched extremely well in Sephora. Here is the description of it from their website, “Punked (wearable to rebellious looks): Cause a riot with a mix of cool, grunge-inspired grays, warm mauves, nudes, and punched-up purples in vixeny velvets and shimmers. It’s everything you need for a range of wearable-to-rebellious looks.”

Sephora Collection 32 Cream Lip Stain / This is a concealer nude lip shade in the best formula ever so I had to get it! There were two other Sephora Collection products that I picked up as well.

Sephora Collection 18 Silver Glitter Colorful liner shadow / To go with my new taupey palette I picked up another one of these liners. I use the matte white and brown shades almost every time I do my makeup and they are a chunky size so they last forever. This one is a bold streak of icey gunmetal grey that you can blend out to sheer silver glitter. I picture smudging this all over the center of my lids.

Sephora Collection Matte Ivory Brow Enhancer / This is an off white creamy pencil for highlighting under the brow arch. I liked the shade so much because it is a pale shade perfect for that purpose, but also for brightening my waterline.

Samples / Sephora might be starting to get the hint that everyone knows their point perks aren’t very perky. “Spend $500 for a packet of hair gel!” is basically what they’ve had for years and pushes me toward Ulta’s reward system whenever I can. For this trip in particular I only went to Sephora because the Ulta by me didn’t have the Smashbox palette in stock. I spent 100 points on a good size roller ball of Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb. SO many people in my college wore this perfume so it reminds me of that time.  While I always loved it, I could never afford it and felt like it was a little too similar to everyone else anyway. I’m happy to have it now!

They also included a little cube of gummies that I was surprised by. They are from Sugarfina and almost too cute to open.

It’s amazing to pay a visit this website and reading the views of
all colleagues about this paragraph, while I am also
    keen of getting knowledge.
