Pink Glow Makeup Look | Stila Ballet Baby

Hi! I took a week or so off blogging to go on a vacation to Lake Coeur D’Alene in Idaho. It was a long drive from where I am in Oregon but it was 100% worth it for the boating, kayaking, and playing in the water.  I didn’t wear all that much makeup while I was there, and taking a break made me excited to get back to posting.

I did this makeup about two weeks ago because I wanted to use the Stila Ballet Baby liquid glitter.  If you pay attention to the makeup world, you know how much everyone loves this formula. They swipe on, can layer up easily, and stay in place.  It’s the easiest way to apply a glitter. This is a light pink shade with pink glitter.

I layered it over a simple eye- glitter in the crease and the ABH Prism palette darker shades for some depth on the outer corner.  I really like how it turned out and it is one of those looks that takes minimal effort because of how easy the Stila Glitter & Glow applies.

For my lip I went old school with MAC Myth.  This was the first Mac lipstick I ever bought. I think it was my first high end beauty purchase whatsoever pretty much! I’ve been through quite a few tubes.  I like to apply a nude lip liner first, then some Myth in the center

Tomorrow I’m a bridesmaid in my best friend’s wedding so I’ll be browsing Pinterest and Youtube videos for how I want to do my makeup. My favorites for glam makeup inspiration are bybrookelle, chrisspy, and Jamie Genevieve.  I’d love to hear who you like to look to when you need makeup ideas.
