Ugh I’m getting so old and it’s time for my annual bday wishlist post. Disclaimer: I don’t tell my friends/ fam what I want, this is basically shit I’m planning to buy myself. My main gift this year is actually going to be a screen door for our backdoor, which I am AMPED for. I picked one out at Home Depot and don’t have to help install it, so once that’s in my year will already be made.
Makeup Bag / I fell in love with this $176 makeup bag from Mac a couple months ago, and it’s been in the back of my mind ever since. That price is so insane, so I haven’t and won’t be buying it, at least not anytime soon. This one is also SO beautiful by Sephora Collection and it actually looks like a dupe of the Mac one for $100.
Hair Waver / Not a need, but a want, which is exactly what a gift should be. Look how perfect Lennon Stella’s waves look!!
Jaclyn Hill Lipsticks / Soooo when I first started taking notes to draft up this post, this was at the top of the list. Since then, there have been so many issues arise that I don’t plan to spend my money on these lipsticks until they have a full revamp and have actually issued replacements without hairs or metal shards. Besides all the quality issues though, I love the idea of a full nude range and would love for more brands to hop on this trend. Cheeky & Obsessed are the shades I’m eyeing the most, along with Hustle, Fussy, & Amazeballs coming in second. C’mon Jaclyn you can do this!
Colourpop California Love Palette / Whoever is coming up with the Colourpop eyeshadow palettes lately has been killing it! I really want to get this one.
Pink Nail Polish / I’m really into pink nails right now. Sheer, neon, pastel, every which way. I really want China Glaze You Drive Me Coconuts & Color Club All That Razz .
Nashville hat/candle/ whatever / The trip I took to Nashville truly was the best vacation of my life. I’ve never wanted to leave Oregon before, but I would LOVE to live there. Obsessed with the city now and would love more cute Nash memorabilia. Or actually, I’d rather just get a plane ticket there tbh.
Necklaces / I’ve been seeing so many cute name plate necklaces lately! This is the one I’m eyeing on Etsy, and the other jewelry brand I’m loving is @vibe_szn on Instagram.
Luke Combs / I’d say I’m in a major country music phase, but really I’m just in a Luke Combs phase. Listen to Beer Never Broke My Heart if you need a good intro to him. I literally want his merch, which is not usually my style. I’m going to his concert this fall and CANNOT WAIT!
Crocs / Crocs are IN STYLE now, which I think is so cool. I’m all for a comfortable trend! These have been in my Amazon cart for a few weeks now.
Silky Robe / I’ve wanted one of these to get ready in for way too long and should just bite the bullet and go buy one soon.
PJ Set / Wouldn’t it be cool to not sleep in ratty huge shirts? Unsure because I truly wouldn’t know.
Target Forever 21, Home Depot, Ulta, or Amazon gift card / All the places I spend most of my money.
Vanilla Diffuser / I’m on a MAJOR vanilla kick. Perfumes, home fragrance, etc. are all I want to smell and smell like at the moment. I might be doing a post on all the sweet vanilla finds I’ve had lately. I’d love to have a vanilla diffuser in my house. They’re cute home decor too! Really wanting to try the Bath & Body Works Vanilla cupcake wallflowers as well to turn my house into a sugar factory pretty much.
Felt Hat / This is another Nashville- inspired item on my list. When we went into Kittenish they had THE CUTEST beige felt hat. I literally never wear hats because I’m not sure if I can pull them off, but I haven’t been able to get this one out of my head. I’m not seeing it on their website, but it pretty much looked like this one, but with a little ribbon that matched the hat rather than the black strap this one has. I just need to buy it and get the confidence to wear it.
That’s it! I think the plan for my birthday will be to go out to dinner and get margaritas with my friends, and possibly have a fire at my place with smores, which I’m definitely looking forward to.
