Full Face of Affordable Makeup & 2 Lip Options

Right now I’m loving so much drugstore makeup so I did a full face using only my affordable products.  There’s nothing too complicated or special about this look- I literally used bronzer as eyeshadow- but I liked how it came out. I did a version with a nude, and then a maroon lip too. I’m feeling in the fall spirit since it’s almost September. It was 100 degrees out when I did this makeup though, so the weather obviously doesn’t agree.  I’d love summer if I could function better when it’s hot out. I get in a bad mood about being sweaty though! Anyway, here’s the quick look I put together with some current drugstore favorites.

FACE

Loreal Glotion / Not gonna lie, I didn’t plan on leaving the house so I didn’t need a longwear primer. I prepped with this glotion to give me just enough tackiness to work with. If I needed more staying power I’d add Wet n’ Wild matte primer and set it with powder.

Loreal Fresh Wear Foundation / This foundation looks amazing on every skin type I’ve seen use it. It has lasting power even on my oil slick skin. When I wear it out I use a matte primer like Wet n’ Wild or Urban Decay De- Slick.  I did a light layer with one pump on a damp sponge, then went in with Maybelline Fit Me powder to add more coverage, but you can also build it up on its own.

Ulta Under Eye Primer / This is a balm with a pink tint. Doesn’t make as big of a difference as the Becca version, but I still feel like it’s worth applying for a little bit of grip and hydration before concealer.

Loreal Total Cover Concealer / Truly a perfect dupe for shape tape. I’m use the shade vanilla to brighten my under eyes.

Makeup Revolution Lace Baking Powder / This pale yellow powder is great to set my under eyes.

Coty Airspun Powder / I don’t feel like I need to say anything about this classic. I apply this to take away any shine.

Maybelline Fit Me Matte powder / I picked up the shade toffee, so I currently have three of these if that shows how much I love this powder.  It adds more coverage and makes me matte.

Rimmel Bronzer / Super easy to blend.

Milani Baked Bronzer / It seems like I can’t do my makeup lately without this bronzer. It just makes my face look finished and alive after I’ve applied other powders.  I pretty much use it as a finishing powder all over.

Rach Leary x Makeup Revolution Goddess on the Go palette / I used this for my blush, highlighter, and an inner corner highlight.  It’s a beautiful palette for an easy warm bronze or berry eye look.

EYES

Wet n’ Wild Catsuit liquid eyeshadow / I wanted to try this out as an eyeshadow primer. It fully covers my lid with just a little bit, and they have a variety of nude shades that dry down matte.  It has a nice lip gloss wand style applicator, then I blend with my finger. I applied some Maybelline powder to set it, and some bronzer in the crease and under eye.

Maybelline Color Tattoo metallic liquid shadow / I wanted my inner corner to really pop so I applied this before the inner corner shadow.

Essence gel liner / usually I prefer NYX matte liquid liner but I felt like applying gel this day to get a thicker wing.

Maybelline Lash Stiletto Mascara / I’m obsessed with this mascara and definitely will be repurchasing soon. It’s rare that I don’t switch up my mascara instead of repurchasing, so that says a lot!

Ardell Magnetic Wispies / I opened up a fresh pair for this look and tried them out without trimming them. I found them a lot more difficult to apply and they didn’t blend as well. I left them for the picture but i’ll be trimming them next time I use them.

ELF brow wax & Colourpop Auburn brow color / I like how this keeps my brows in place and darkens the hair a little. I filled in the tail a little bit with Colourpop’s brow pomade.  If I want some colored gel I put on some Essence Make Me Brow too.

LIP

Nude Lip / After lining my lips with Milani Spice liner, I applied Morphe Virgin liquid lipstick. I wanted a little more light pink after the Morphe dried down, so I put Rimmel 41 lipstick in the center and blotted everything with my finger to blend.

Maroon Lip / After lining with Essence Red Blush liner, I applied Sephora Collection 42 Rose Wood.  Since it’s a store brand at Sephora I’m considering that affordable. The Colourpop red liquid lipsticks I had were either too pink or bright for what I was aiming for here. Colourpop Lady looks like a similar shade to what I used.
