I’m at work by 7AM so it’s just not in the cards for me to do makeup during the week. As much as I’d love to look glam on a daily basis, I love that I’m always off work fairly early and I can enjoy my evenings. I never go a day without my morning skincare though.
I love finding skincare that gives me a little boost. For example, the Tula Rose Glow balm. It feels cooling, moisturizes my undereyes, and also has a glowy pink hue to brighten that area. It’s not covering anything like a corrector or concealer by any means, but it has subtle light- reflecting particles in there that make me look more awake. Loreal Glotion is another product that’s super easy to mix in with my sunscreen for a little bit of glow to even out my skin.
Multitasking products are amazing. The Cetaphil Redness Reducing Tinted Moisturizer visibly evens my skin tone and has sunscreen without looking like I have anything on. Cicapair Tiger Grass by Dr. Jart is great for paler skin and more intense rosacea. For years I’ve been a fan of Jergens Natural Glow face lotion. It moisturizes, tans, and protects with SPF. While I prefer to add a layer of Pond’s moisturizer before my sunscreen to really get hydration, you could just slap on the Jergens and be ready for the day. If you’re a fan of self tanner like me, try Ulta tanning drops. You can mix them into any moisturizer. Another multi-tasking way I do skincare is by drinking Tazo Zen tea. Along with the caffeine that I enjoy, it has spearmint in it which helps me not get breakouts. I also add collagen powder to it.
I was thinking about how cool it would be to have the ultimate multi-tasking skincare product. Here’s what my dream cream would be a combination of:
- Ponds moisturizer
- Jergens Natural Glow Face
- Ulta Tan drops
- Sunscreen
- Cetaphil redness reducing tinted moisturizer
- Loreal Glotion
For evening it would be a mixture of Cerave SA lotion, Vitamin E, Derma-E Intense Night Cream, CBD, Bio Oil, ROC’s retinol night cream, and Egyptian Magic.
My dream facial spray: vitamin c + niacinamide + Heritage rose water + CBD
Topping off my dream criteria would have these products being from the drugstore.
