Colourpop has been a brand I have gone back and forth with loving and not loving. They have a lot of the more trendy shades that drugstores don’t and at $5 or $6, are usually more affordable. My only annoying experience with them was when their liquid satin formula stained my lips bright pink no matter what color I tried. Other than a few duds, their ultra mattes are one of the first formulas that made me fall in love with liquid lipsticks. It has been awhile since I explored their site, so I picked up some new products.
Topaz Highlighter & Bronzer Duo / I was excited to try the pressed powder formula from them and this duo did not disappoint. The She’s Here to Stay highlight is a bit dark for me, but is a nice gold I have been using on the outer edge of my highlight rather than in the middle of my face. The bronzer in Golden Moment is a really nice matte formula that is not too powdery and not too hard to get product. I’ve been sweeping my bronzer brush in a little bit of both the matte brown and the gold if I want to add some radiance to my bronzer.
Lipsticks
Strip Ultra satin lip / This was a free mini that came with my purchase. The color Strip is a very pretty medium brown nude. It did not stain my hand pink when I swatched it, but I haven’t tried it on my lips yet.
Shake Rattle and Roll Lip Trio / I originally went to the site because I loved the color Barracuda that I saw Sarahbelle93x wearing on snapchat. Barracuda is in the satin formula, so I went for Viper because it seemed like the matte equivalent. This set came with a liner, matte x lippie stick, and Ultra matte on sale for $11.20. The liquid lipstick looks the exact same color as the other two when it is first applied and in the tube, but it dries down to a much darker purple shade that is also very pretty. I am planning on putting this color over a lip primer to lighten it up a bit because I think the dryness causes it to get darker. Their lippie stix formula is a very comfortable lipstick formula and the thinness of the lipstick is great for precise application. I do not have many purple lip shades or lip liners so I was excited to add this one to my collection.
Mama Ultra Matte / This dark burnt orange color is an absolutely beautiful rusty shade. Like Viper, it darkens quite a bit once it dries down.
Little Weapon Ultra Matte / This liquid lip is a very unique BRIGHT red that I came across while looking for an ultra bright red lipstick to wear for Cinco De Mayo. This one stays just as bright when it dries down as when it is first swatched.
Eyeshadows
Kelp Me / This is described as a bright melon with duochrome finish, which it definitely is. Anything with a pink/ orange shift appeals to me, and this one is so beautiful. My swatch is two coats.
Fooling Around / This is a beautiful bright maroon with pink sparkles. I love red shadows and this one is too cool.
White Rabbit / This is a metallic copper orange. I swatched it next to a few of the more rose gold and bronze Colourpop shadows I have and it doesn’t seem to have a dupe as far as I can tell.
Come and Get It /This is a pink and gold pressed powder shadow that I added to my Z Palette. It is a very unique shade and so far the formula is beautiful. It is very comparable to the MAC and Makeup Geek single shadows I own.
Having new eyeshadows is inspiring me to create a ton of makeup looks with these colors so if there is anything you would like to see in action please let me know!

I’ve totally gone back and forth using Colourpop too. Their prices keep me comin’ back though 🙂
they def have that going for them!
Why can’t we get colourpop in the UK 😭
:*( so lame!!
You can. But shipping is expensive.
I’m the same way with colorpop. It was my first online, cult fav, purchase. I ordered 3 lipsticks and they all were just so drying. One colour though, “Zipper” was so gorgeous. I want to give them a second chance but the longevity and feel failed for me.
So hit or miss I totally agree!
I hate the Ultra Matte formula (way too dry in my lips) but I love the Ultra Satins. I have Baracuda & Frick N Frack.
Such nice colors!! Frick N Frack is the only Satin I have that I kept.
Nice colors
