Everyday Essentials

This post is a round up of the items I live in and use every single day.  Most of them are the things I only need at home, but there are also a few staples I use when I have to run errands. I have repurchased most of these multiple times and recommend them all the time. I have put all these items into an Amazon list to shop here.  I’m such a homebody and these all help curate a cozy vibe at my house that I never want to leave.

Health

Magnesium / Every morning when I wake up, I drink one scoop of Natural Calm with 30oz of water, and I do the same before bed.

Sparkling Water Maker  / Just about every night I add ice, soda water, and lime to my Hydroflask Pint glass to sip on.  Sometimes I add a shot of tequila too. For the CO2, I go to Target for $15 refill canisters.

Tea / Relaxing in my robe with a big mug of tea at night helps me calm down before bed. Peppermint is my go to.

Hydro Flask Cup / Once you get one of these, you’ll pretty much never use another cup. I love how there’s no condensation and it keeps liquid cold.

Vitamins / Take your vitamins! I love this cute magnetic container to help me remember to take them. More of my favorite vitamins and supplements are on this list.

Breakfast Bar / If I haven’t made a smoothie and need something to eat, I keep protein bars stocked.

Collagen / I put one scoop of this in my coffee and smoothies daily.

Apple Watch band / This is hands down the best apple watch band I’ve ever used. It looks minimal for everyday wear, but also is great for sweaty workouts.

Water Bottle / I got on the 40oz Stanley cup train recently and love it. I drink one to two gallons of water a day, so I’ve tried quite a few water bottles. My other favorite is Hydro Flask or this 50oz cup with a straw.

CBD / I love every single product from Social CBD and can’t recommend it enough.

Sunglasses / Whether I’m sitting in the backyard, going on a walk, or driving, I always wear sunglasses to prevent brow furrowing. My Everyday Essentials list has a couple of my favorite pairs.

Home

Candle / I’m a long time Bath & Body works fan and light one just about every night, all year round.

Noise Maker / Can’t sleep without this on ocean or rain mode.

Mac Mini / We use this for watching Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, and Amazon Prime shows. The concept is that it basically turns our TV into a computer screen.

LED Tree / I bought a light up tree two years ago for Christmas, and ended up keeping it up ever since. It creates such a cozy vibe at night in my living room, and it’s not TOO holiday looking.

Kindle / I think I’ve mentioned how much I love my Kindle before, but it is worth repeating. I like minimal clutter, so I don’t really want to buy a bunch of books. It is amazing for reading at night as well.  I’ve heard that if you get the ad supported version, you can chat Amazon customer service to ask for the ads to be removed for free, citing that you saw an offensive ad or something lol.

Dog Bandanas / My pup Rye always has a cute bandana on.  Not only does he look adorable, but it is very functional to soak up drool regularly.

Headphones / Beats x Kim Kardashian are the best.

Blanket / My husband and I each have one of these that we use on the couch. They are so soft and wash well.

Planner / I’ve always been a paper planner girl. I have to LOVE my planner. I found the cutest one every last year that reminded me of the Burberry print for $16 at Target. I’ve linked the one I’ll probably buy this year.

Coffee / I’m not okay without coffee.  This is the one I have daily.

Clothing

Slippers / Uggs are worth the money in my opinion. Wearing something fuzzy around the house instantly boosts my serotonin.

PJs / Depending on the season, I rotate between a few different kinds of pajamas, and they’re mostly from SKIMS. When I self tan or am getting ready, I always go for this satin set.

Target Boxers / For some reason I almost want to gatekeep these because they are SO good.  I even have gone on a walk around my neighborhood wearing the plain black pair because they look like regular shorts. SO comfy and fit so well.

Bra / If I have to wear one, it is always this super comfy seamless one.

Slides / My go to slide sandal for running errands.  They are so easy to clean too.

Robe / I live in my robe. Every morning I put it on to take the dog out, and chill in it while drinking coffee and scrolling Tiktok before I put on actual clothes for work.  Kohls is another great place to get nice robes.

Earrings / These are super small, and never fall out, so I love them.

Blue light glasses / I simply think these are cute, no clue if they work.

Beauty

Grande Lash Serum / I can’t recommend Grande Cosmetics products enough

Face Scrub / Glycolic acid is always reliable for me. I use this on both my face and body for when I want to scrub off fake tan.

Jade Roller / I use this nightly to depuff.

Eye cream / If you want a gorgeous primer for concealer, I love this glowy eye cream. I mostly wear it on its own without any makeup.

Eye Patches / These are such a treat to wear as I’m working, or even doing my eye makeup before I apply the rest of my makeup. I also like to let bridal parties wear them to start hydrating their face before I apply makeup.

Salicylic Acid Cleanser / My husband and I are both obsessed with it, and always keep it stocked. After washing off my makeup with Philosophy Purity, this is my favorite double cleanser to use.

Serum / I slather my face in this daily.  It is also great to add a few pumps into foundation to make the finish more sheer and glossy.

Comb / I have about 10 of these in my house/ car/ purse and use them nonstop.

Hair Oil / Not into having my ends look crispy or crunchy, so I love to slather them in a protective oil.

Harry’s Razor / These literally do not get dull. I don’t understand it.

Fragrance / Putting on a body mist or perfume brightens my mood.  I love Sol De Janeiro scents,  Bath and Body Works Into the Stars or Warm Vanilla Sugar, and the Ariana Grande mists.

Face Mist / Before applying serums and moisturizer I drench my face in mist. Then I use it as a refresher throughout the day.

Headbands / Great for working out, putting my hair back when washing my face, or covering up greasy hair.

Moisturizer / I have two holy grail moisturizers- Cerave night cream, and Ponds dry skin cream.

SPF / I like to use either a tinted glowy sunscreen, or a regular lightweight one. The Elta one I linked here makes my skin look amazing, but I have a few more on the essentials list that I use that are not tinted, like this Aloe version.

Lip Balm / Either I use Aquaphor (the biggest bottle you can find), or Palmers. I literally gifted my family all lip balm last year for Christmas because it is essential.

Nivea Lotion / This the most hydrating body lotion.  It gives that shine to legs as well. I pump lotion into my hand, spray body mist onto it for fragrance, and apply from my neck to feet. Sometimes I add a pump of Jergens Natural Glow lotion in as well for some color.

Native deodorant / If I’m out walking around or doing makeup for a wedding, I use full strength deodorant- especially this one. Most days I go for Native though to cut back on the chemicals.

Hair tie / If you’re not already using satin or silk scrunchies for your hair, please start. This minimizes any damage from hair ties.

Shop more of my favorite things here.  I hope this was useful and helps you find comfy things to enjoy at home this fall and winter.
