November Favorites | 2022

Happy winter! This is my favorite time of the year- cold temperatures, cloudy weather, and I can finally wear jackets, Uggs, and hoodies. As I’m currently writing this, it is snowing, the Christmas tree is up, and I’m snuggled in the heating blanket while we watch a Harry Potter movie- heaven.

BEAUTY

Loving Tan Platinum /  Nothing makes me feel more confident than waking up with this tan on.  It’s the perfect deep glow, and is my #1 tan formula that I like to use. I also find this looks really nice when I apply it to my face with a foundation brush.

Dashing Diva Glaze Semi-Cured Gel Art / After applying these nail stickers, you cure them for a few seconds with a nail lamp, and they actually stay on. I haven’t tried the gloss version that you don’t have to use a lamp with, but if I do I’ll report back. I’m constantly cleaning, doing dishes, typing at work, and being hard on my nails, and these still look perfect even after a week. The only downfall I’m noticing is the bottom of the nail strip at my cuticle is lifting. I’ll make sure to push the base down more securely when I do my next set. If they come out with a glazed donut nude shade (iykyk) I’ll be buying 20 packs.

Amika Deep Waver Jumbo / Hailey Beiber’s influence always gets me. I think this is the most I’ve ever spent on a hair tool, and I’m obsessed. It gives me soft big waves, not crimps like smaller barreled wavers.

Candy Cane Body Scrub / I always look forward to when I see this scent out at Target. I need to stock up, because it is so refreshing and delicious smelling. On the topic of hygiene products, the Native Mistletoe deodorant scent is really great too.

Ledda 22 Orris Perfume / I’ve watched SMLx0 (Stephanie Ledda) on Youtube forever, and she has amazing perfume recommendations. This perfume is the first from her new brand, and when she described it as something that Hailey Bieber would wear, I immediately was sold. Blind buying a fragrance can be risky, but this wildly impressed me. It’s sparkling/ fresh yet warm/ “clean girl” vibes. It reminds me of taking a bubble bath at a fancy cabin in the woods, and it’s the kind of perfume I’d want to run into someone wearing.  That might sound weird but it’s what immediately comes to my mind. It is super unique, and I don’t own anything that smells like it.

Website description: blend of buttery iris, sandalwood and soft musk.  Pink pepper, pear leaf and fresh wild freesia combined with sheer jasmine, creamy orris extracts and lily of the valley create a warm, intimate fragrance.

Cloud Intense Perfume / This is worth all the hype. I love the intense version because it’s a very light fragrance in general. It’s great for every occasion and all times of the year.

The Ordinary Squalane / $9 for one of the most hydrating products I’ve ever put on my face. I’m obsessed with this and will always have it in my skincare routine.  I can’t wait to start incorporating squalene into my routine in more ways.

Oribe Hair Oil / I took the plunge on this during the Sephora sale and am so glad I did. It is the most lightweight oil ever, and instantly makes my hair feel soft and manageable. I have gotten 2 rounds of highlights in my hair, so I’m always applying hair oil to the ends to avoid breakage. I like it much more than the Olaplex oil because the Oribe one actually makes my hair feel silky. The closest comparison I have found to this is the Bumble & Bumble Hairdresser oil.

Scalp treatments / Before washing my hair:  Rosemary oil scalp treatment, Daily: Ouai Scalp

Lip Combo  / Mac Oak or Stripdown liner with ABH Haze has been my go to nude lip when I’m not smothering my lips in Rhode lip treatment or Aquaphor.

MORE

Forvr Mood Candle / Cuffed Up is the only scent I’ve tried so far from this stunning brand by Jackie Aina. I really want to get my hands on the Apres Ski set.  Cuffed Up is a safe blind buy for sure though, and the candle burns much slower than Bath & Body Works.

Heating Blanket / No justification needed, this is a must have.

Skims Onesie / I love this black onesie for lounging around the house but still looking semi cute. I was debating getting the cream/ white color too, but not sure if I can quite pull that one off. I can’t wait to wear this all day on Christmas while sipping coffee.

Longchamp Bag / I used a Longchamp purse back in like 2012, and now I’m back to it again. It’s durable, holds so much, and looks timeless in my opinion. I use the smaller size in chocolate brown and I found it on Poshmark in perfect condition.

Alo fleece jacket / This has been my favorite cozy jacket the past two years. I love the varsity and foxy jacket styles.

Beige beanie / I’ve been wanting everything in beige/ cream/ vanilla tones lately, and this hat is so cute. Praying I don’t end up getting bronzer all over it.

Sorel Boots / Sorels are both functional and look cute. They’re so easy to walk in, and just kind of a must if you live in the PNW like me.

Uggs / Obvious winter favorite, but I can’t get enough of the Tasman style. These are so cute too.

Sunriver Rippin Pale Ale / This is my current fave beer. Trying to limit myself to not buy a pack every time I see it at the grocery store.

I could keep adding favorites but feel like I should stop here for now. I’ll keep a running list and do more winter favorites next. Feel free to leave me any recommendations you have been loving, or even just your favorite holiday movie. Thank you so much for reading!
