We’ve burst into autumn, so put on a cable knit sweater or Sherpa Alo Jacket, bake a pumpkin cinnamon roll, pour a coffee with spiced whipped cream, and put on vanilla perfume. I love vanilla scents year round, but like everything else, they’re better in the fall.
Vanilla Woods / #1 favorite tied with another on this list. Classic for day or night, makes me feel (delusional-ly) like I’m under twinkle lights in 56 degree winter wonderland weather (the perfect temperature) and I’ve never looked better. Magical/ intimate/ gorgeous, etc.
Skylar Vanilla Sky / This is the most autumn-y. You can definitely smell the cappuccino.
Kayali Vanilla 28 / Bakery vanilla frosting but sophisticated. Great layered with other scents.
Burberry Goddess / Perfect everyday scent in my opinion. Website description: Vanilla Infusion, Vanilla Caviar, Vanilla Absolute
Ariana Grande Ari / Marshmallow frosting, so girly and sweet but not cloying.
Libre Intense / I always think of this as “confidence in a bottle” because it’s bold. It doesn’t have vanilla in the notes, but it evokes “vanilla girl vibes” and this is a great one to wear if you want to be noticed.
Sol De Janeiro 40 Bom Dia / Not sure how many more ways I can try to come up with vanilla descriptions. Love this one- you can spray SO much of it and you’ll never get sick of it. Love that Sol De Janeiro mists are safe to use on hair too. Very similar to Vanilla Woods.
Replica By the Fireplace / Vanilla, but softly smokey. Obsessed with the fragrance description, “This cologne evokes memories of wood crackling in the fireplace while snow falls outside.”
Ledda 22 Orris / This is my other #1 favorite. I can’t pick between them! Evokes the feeling of taking a luxurious bubble bath in a forest with an expensive glass of white pinot noir. It’s intimate, decadent, luxurious, sparkling snowflakes falling around me/ wedding day fragrance level perfection. I’ve never smelled something even similar to this, so uniquely perfect.
Mac Creme D’Nude / Hallmark cinnamon donut latte vibes. This one lasts really well on clothing.
Angel Goddess / Such a good going out scent with amazing depth. Also love Sol De Janeiro Rio Radiance lotion layered with this one. It gives a golden glow and smells extremely similar. Definitely is “summery”, but still can be worn in fall.
Floral Street Wild Vanilla Orchid / Earthy autumn floral vanilla heaven. Fresh & bright first day of fall essence.
Juliette Has a Gun Vanilla Vibes / This is the most summery of the bunch. Has salty beach air incorporated with the vanilla. I have the Dossier Aquatic Vanilla dupe version of this. Great everyday light scent.
Body Scrub: Tree Hut Cinnamon Dolce / Smells exactly like toast with butter and cinnamon sugar on top. Best part of my shower routine.
Pacifica Island Vanilla / Even though this is described as “Island Vanilla”, it’s not tropical. It was one of the first vanilla fragrances that I tried, and it can layer well other scents.
Body Lotion: Vanilla Cashmere / So happy I found this lotion. It’s from Target and the scent is warm and delicious, and lingers really well. Add it to your next Target Drive up order and thank me later.
