Many people overlook the in house brand of Sephora, but there are some major hidden gems. Not only are they great products, but they’re some of the most affordable offerings in the store. Here I will go over the ones that have been a success and some duds.
Best
Cream Lip Stains / I have raved about these matte liquid lipsticks so much, but they are one of the best formulas I have tried. They crack less than many other mattes, and last extremely well. The color selection has more “trendy” colors than many other lines.
Perfection Mist Airbrush Bronzer Spray / I call this my “tan filter.” After I do my makeup, I spray this aerosol all over my face and it blends all my makeup into the perfect glowy tan look. I hold it back quite a few inches from my face and make sure to not be wearing a white shirt. Have you ever gone in with too much under eye highlight or to strong of a contour and feel like you look striped? This fixes that and makes everything look uniform, but it’s a light fix- just like an Insta filter. I have checked a bag solely for the purpose of bringing this product on vacations with me. Kinda freaking out because I don’t see this on the Sephora website… praying it’s not discontinued and if it is I will find a dupe. If it is permanently gone, which I haven’t quite come to terms with, I’ll have to switch to the Guerlain mist… FML.
Pencil Liner / These crayons are ultra pigmented and come in an array of colors. Back in the day I used NYX jumbo sticks but they always were waxy and the caps cracked/ broke as soon as I got them. It’s been awhile since I tried that product so it could have changed, but for now this is what I like to use. There’s a color for everyone, but I own the white matte and matte dark brown. They are great for the waterline or smudging on the lid as a shadow. The formula is creamy and doesn’t crease on me.
Radiant Drops / These are a beautiful liquid highlight for a fair price of $14. It comes with a dropper applicator built in to add directly onto a sponge, cheek, or mix into foundation.
Sephora Pro Brushes / I can’t do my makeup without #49 & #57. They are some of the nicest quality brushes I have tried.
Worst
Midnight Magic Shimmer / I was expecting this product to be a dupe of the Make Up Forever Star Lit powder when I bought it, but was totally off. This came in a jar the size of a setting powder and is a body glitter- one of those messy fly- everywhere when you open it. I returned it promptly. Not a bad product, but not what I was looking for.
Spray Primer / This aerosol priming spray sounded fabulous. It had zero effect on helping out with the lasting power of my foundation though, and the spray mechanism broke after about two uses. Returned and was bummed because I love the ease of aerosol sprays.
Perfection Mist Nude Glow / Another aerosol product that broke one me! This spray highlight went on BEAUTIFULLY and was one of the most gorgeous highlights I have ever tried. It left my skin looking like the dew fairies lit my skin with a beautiful glow that never looked sweaty or stripey. The sprayer broke after about four uses and I couldn’t get it to work again no matter what I tried. Amazing product, but useless without a sprayer. FIX THIS SEPHORA COLLECTION I BEG.
I think that is all that I have tried out from the line so far! I’ll do a Wishlist Wednesday for the Sephora Collection products I have my eye on.

Their stuff is hit & miss just like every else. Their serum concealer is great but the packaging needs work as too much product gets scraped off when pulling the applicator out, so it seems like a very dry Concealer, which is not the case.
That has been the one thing stopping me from picking it up! Is the stopper a rubber one you could pry out?
I don’t remember.
Now you have me wanting to try that concealer haha.
Next time I go to Sephora I’ll play with it again. It’s been like a year since I last used it so that’s why I can’t remember.
The Perfection Mist Airbrush Bronzer Spray sounds amazing! I wish they had Sephora here in the Uk ♥︎
