July is my birthday month! So (like every other month) I naturally bought way too many things to gift myself. Here are some fun things I’ve been spoiling myself with.
BEAUTY
Tartelette Toasted Palette / WHY did I wait 3 years to buy this? I have always thought it was beautiful. I love oranges and any warm tone eyeshadows, and everytime I do makeup for weddings I use the Tartelette in Bloom palette. I always talked myself out of it, knowing that I own plenty of warm tone eyeshadows. While that is true, I love this palette and it inspires me so much. It also has me even more excited for fall than usual.
Brunette toning mask / The one thing that sucks about going back to my natural hair color is not getting to
Grande Lash / I absolutely love how lash serum helps my lashes fill in. I’ve noticed way less gaps in my lash line while I use this consistently.
Beauty Sponge / I saw these sponges on Tik Tok and immediately ran to Amazon to check them out. They’re $10 for 6 amazing sponges. These are the softest beauty blender dupe I’ve found yet!
Egyptian Magic Moisturizer / This is a long time repurchase item. Everytime I apply this at night I feel like I wake up with refreshed glowy skin. If you have dry skin, you’ll love this.
FASHION
Nike Shorts / Look at the side snaps on these!! If you have big thighs/ hips like me, you know we need all the extra room in shorts that we can get. Usually I have to order a size up in shorts because of my booty, but these actually fit true to size!
Dezi Sunglasses / I love all her styles! Find them on Poshmark for a better price and shipping.
Croc Slides / This was one of my amazing birthday gifts I was so excited to receive from a friend. I’m boring and probably wouldn’t have picked out purple for myself. I’m so glad they got me a fun color though, and some adorable Jibbitz to go with them. Like all other Crocs, they’re beyond comfortable. If you don’t have a pair, you need them.
Skims / Should I do a whole post about my favorite Skims items? Everything I have purchased has been such a hit. My most recent favorites are: lounge underwear, bralette, and some sleep boxers. Probably TMI, but I LOVE high cut, high waisted undies- they are the most flattering on my stomach.
Loafers / Maybe it’s my obsession with watching Gossip Girl, but I’m into the preppy Princess Diana vibe of these chunky shoes. I never would have imagined loving these a year ago, but my style is definitely evolving and I feel like they’ll go with everything this fall. Loafers are classic right? I’ve lived in my backless ones for years now, so I think that I’ll get a lot of use out of these.
Tank tops / I live in these tops- I bought them after someone on Instagram said that the classic white tanks you see on Kendall Jenner are always these Mens Hanes tanks.
HOME
Liquid IV / I’ve been hearing podcast ads for Liquid IV for like ten years and thought they were a scam. I was wrong. I’m not sure about the hydration aspect, but the strawberry flavor tastes DELICIOUS. I’ll probably whip up some soda water with a packet of strawberry and drink it instead of wine tonight- it’s so refreshing and tastes like candy.
Kitchen paddle / So nifty and useful, but also cute! Trust me, you need this set. We cook a lot, and I find myself using these nonstop.
Side tables / I have a small house, so I needed two side tables on the smaller side. Good furniture is hard to find, and we have loved these so far.
Digestion tea / Another TikTok find I bought for my weight loss journey. Obviously I’m not a doctor so do your own research, but this tea helps my digestion immensely, especially when I’ve eaten too much.
Cookbooks / We cook 5 meals a week at home (and use leftovers the other two days), and we needed some fresh ideas. We picked up these cookbooks this weekend that are inspiring me to switch up meals: 1. 2. 3.
