My style/ life is very casual so I live in athleisure. In my opinion, the definition of Lululemon is comfortable clothes with cute branding. Their fabric always feels amazing, and it has completely replaced any other workout brand I buy.
Why do I love it? I feel like my best self when wearing it. I picture myself back in college walking to the library wearing a pair of New Balance sneakers, flare leggings, half zip hoodie, sunglasses, Skims tank, and a Lululemon backpack on a crisp October day with my coffee tumbler. I WISH I had dressed like that in college. My style was a mess coming from my hillbilly small town. ANYWAY…
Start with the “We Made Too Much” discount section to dip your toe in if you’re interested. If you want a guide for all the items I’ve found that I am absolutely ~obsessed~ with and get tons of wear out of, here we go.
Accessories
Curved Wristlet / Great wallet wristlet that can hold a ton of cards/ cash/ anything.
Belt Bag / There’s a reason these sell out so fast! Definitely snag one if you get the chance.
All Nighter Festival Bag / If you have been looking for an everyday purse, get this one.
3L Backpack / Such a functional and cute everyday purse. It can be worn crossbody or as a backpack, and holds so much.
Nano backpack / The cutest little keychain clip that holds my lip gloss, chapstick, lip liner, and lipstick. You could totally put credit cards/ cash in here and clip it to your keys to run into a store.
Packable Large Tote Bag / I get SO much use out of this cute foldaway bag. I have the neverlost keychain clipped onto it so I can either clip it onto my keys or put it on my wrist when I need a reusable bag. Great gift idea!!
Slides / You need these. Perfect sandal to be a bit more casual than wearing Birkenstocks, but more dressy than the Amazon pillow slides I otherwise always wear.
Headbands / When I workout my hair goes in a low pony, braid, then another satin hair band to secure it, when a headband on. It’s tacky of me, but I love the Lulu logo on it. I look gross but at least I have a cute headband on. I feel like this is a great stocking stuffer idea too.
Bottoms
Base Pace Leggings / These are what I would suggest to workout in.
Wunder Under Leggings / I love how this flattens my flabby stomach a bit. These have the most compression of any other leggings I own. Sadly I think these are discontinued, but wanted to mention them in case they come back.
Align Leggings / The comfiest legging I own. I’m someone who wears leggings on 99% of outings, and these are my go to.
Groove Flared Pant / Just as great as the leggings, and I’ve been getting the most use out of the yoga pant style.
Align bike shorts / My go to when I need to be in hot weather but don’t want to feel naked. I’m 5’10” so for me, the 6 or 8 inch are the perfect length. I also have the 10 inch and love the coverage.
Align Joggers / The perfect comfy coastal grandmother jogger legging. Currently wearing these as I write this- the high waist is SO nice.
Softstream high rise pants / These are an elevated velour pant basically. Warning: they’re a bit too short on me, so if you’re like 5’8” or taller be aware of that.
Tops
Align Tank / Size up one, these run small. Personally I wear these alone without a sports bra underneath. Overall, anything that says “Align” is going to be great from what I have experienced. Personally I prefer the “waist length” longer version.
Align tee / I love the short and long sleeve version. Size up one or two in this though, because they’re super cropped. That is my one complaint, I’m not someone who wants to show midriff (it’s my main problem area) and Lulu has a lot of cropped items.
Outerwear
Oversized full zip hoodie / I LIVE in full zip hoodies in the winter. Around my house, to the store, on walks, etc. The carob brown full zip is in my cart and I’m trying to get through writing this without checking out.
Half zip hoodie / Feel like treating yourself while reading this? Go buy the red merlot half zip (I get the biggest size), and thank me later. Don’t be scared to size up, you want this to be loose.
Define Jacket / When I think Lululemon, I immediately think of this fitted zip up top. There’s a hooded version (my fave), cropped, then regular. Roasted brown is currently in my cart too.
Colors
I personally like to find a new color to obsess over, then type it into the search bar to shop. Faves: Grey sage, carob brown, roasted brown, tidewater teal, red merlot, blue linen, smoked spruce, green jasper, strawberry milkshake, pastel blue, rover, heathered rover, laurel green, java, cassis, yogo embossed, warm coral, sonic pink, white opal, autumn red, trench, ancient copper
