This makeup is one of my go to easy looks. I wore it to Target this weekend and the girl at the register complimented it so I felt it was worthy of it’s own post. All the products I listed are below, and I went over how I did the makeup a little as well.
Shadow / Light shadow or skin tone powder all over, a light purple or pinkish mauve built up in the crease and dusted over the lid, and some deep brown or black on the lower lashline and outer corner of the lid. I used the Anastasia Prism palette for this. I’ve been reaching for it a lot lately- even just for matte looks like this one.
Liner / Laura Mercier Caviar Stick in Plum along my upper and lower lashline and smudge it out with a brush. White pencil in waterline, more of the Laura Mercier on my tightline. To keep the base of my lashes dark I put grey liner on before applying lashes.
Face / I tried out a sample of Becca First Light Priming filter on this day and really liked it. It felt weightless and was a nice base that looked great under my makeup. For foundation I went with one of my most reliable ones- Urban Decay Naked Skin One & Done. I have a lot of hormonal acne right now and this evens out my skin without making me feel like I have heavy makeup on.
Lip / Truffle by Dose of Colors really complimented the light purple eyeshadow I thought. I also wore it with Gigi Hadid x Maybelline Taura lipstick when I went out earlier in the day. With both options I used Colourpop Tootsi, which is one I reach for extremely often. I ate while wearing the Maybelline and didn’t feel like getting it out of my purse to reapply so Truffle was what I photographed.
