Beauty Edit: Bronze & Glow

If you’re like me and feel the need to combat the winter- uglies, this is a round up of all the items that help me accomplish that. I just put on a new self tan and was inspired to chat about everything that helps get me tan, glowy, and hydrated, even if I’m in sweatpants and a hoodie bundled up under my heating blanket while it rains.  I’m one of those annoying people who hate spring and summer, but I’m trying to embrace it this year by preparing however I can to feel my best.

Tan

Bondi Sands Pure Sleep Mask / I like using this after dermaplaning my face and as a last step in my night skincare routine. It gives my face and neck a glow in the morning and feels like a lotion.

Bondi Sands Ultra Dark / Current favorite self tan. I go to bed giddy knowing I have this on and will wake up TAN.

Gradual tan / I use classic Jergens Medium Deep. At this point I’ve basically been using this most of my life, and I can’t recommend it enough. Especially if you’re a beginner when it comes to tanning, I think this is an excellent product.

Makeup

Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter / My preferred way to use this is over top of foundation when I want my skin to have a glowy finish. You can also use it instead of foundation.  I use the Elf dupe as well but definitely prefer the CT version for my oily skin.

Rare Beauty Illuminating Primer / This is my go to primer when I want to start with a glowy blurred base.

Urban Decay Extra Glow Primer / I like that this is a clear consistency primer, that gives a balmy moist finish to the skin, instead of the classic shimmer glow primer. I especially like to use this on brides.

Loreal Glotion / A staple- I like to mix the shade medium or deep into moisturizer, foundation, or use it on my chest.

Hourglass Powder / In my experience, every Hourglass product gives a stunning look with minimal effort. I love the Volume palettes, Ambient Leopard palette, bronzer & blush, Veil translucent setting setting powder, and any of the finishing powders. You absolutely can’t go wrong with them.

Mac Studio Radiance Serum Powered foundation / This is the best foundation I have simply ever tried. This gives a healthy look to the skin, and makes me feel way more confident with how my skin looks. I had to buy it for my bridal kit as well because there is nothing prettier in my opinion.

Mac Fix + Radiant Setting Spray / I like to apply this between steps of my foundation to melt everything together beautifully. It’s a better version of Morphe setting spray. I’ve been very back into everything Mac lately.

Summer Fridays Sheer Skin Tint / It’s the perfect sheer tint just like the name says.  This is absolutely beautiful on the skin. I use the shade 5 (my fake tan shade) and it’s a rare product where I like how it looks on its own.

Mac Hyper Real Serumizer & Mac Hyper Real Balm / THEE best skin prep combo ever. This makes my skin feel so good after wearing it all day, even after I wash off my makeup.

ABH Amber Sparkle Gloss / I promise this is the prettiest sparkly summer gloss you’ve ever seen.

Body & Skin Prep

Elta MD SPF / Even wearing this alone gives such a nice hydrated tint to the skin. It’s a must have for me.

Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask / There is no other mask that buffs away dry dead skin like this one. It will make you have that shiny forehead glow that usually comes from botox lol.

Mac Strobe Cream / These can totally be used as a hydrating skin prep, or as a body glow for a gorgeous finish.

Fenty Warm Cinnamon Butta Drop / My favorite glowy deliciously scented body lotion.

Fenty Body Sauce – Agave Spice/ I love making my chest & neck look tan, and glowy to match my face. This is the best body makeup product that I have found.

Neutrogena Sunscreen / Spray your legs, arms, chest, etc with the aerosol bottle to get a GLOW. It’s such a good trick.
