Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain Swatches & Wear Test
Happy Monday! For this post I wanted to give you another look at the Sephora Cream Lip Stains. You may have already seen my first review on these. I raved about it and after using the four original colors nonstop, I decided it was time to grab a few more.
Obviously I can’t get enough of these liquid lipsticks by Sephora Collection. If you follow my Instagram, pretty much every photo features one of these lip colors! After watching a few more swatch videos to see the colors, I picked up 33 Pink Peony, 21 Pretty Beige,41 Vintage Rosewood, 42 Rosewood, and 26 Pretty Auburn. I swatched them all for you in addition to the colors I already had – 39 Frozen Strawberry, 23 Copper Blush, and 43 Crimson Crush. Of course I forgot to add in 24 Burnt Sienna, which was floating around in a bag I used to go out. Burnt Sienna is arguably my favorite shade of all, so I will add in a lip swatch photo of it on me below.
If you like liquid lipsticks, you need to check these out. I love the color selection, wear time, application, and price- $14!
I wanted to do a wear test of this lipstick, so I put on 33 Pink Peony at 4PM on Saturday and went about my day. I headed to McMenamins to get a Ruby Ale and snack on a basket of fries with one of my best friends, and didn’t touch up the color the whole time. Here’s a before and after of that wear test. This lasted my from 4- 9:30PM when I got home. It cracked up a little bit because I was eating delicious greasy sweet potato fries, touching a napkin to my mouth, and chatting. By 9:30 it looks like I was due for a touch up, but that qualifies as standing up quite well in my opinion. These are definitely one of the best liquid lipstick formulas out there.
